VINTAGE WORK WEAR

This new vintage looking Workwear trend originates from the old factory workers that wore rugged denim overalls and baggy jackets. The reinvention of this trend is very different to various other 20th century styles as it didn't start off as fashionable clothing. The clothing is pretty much unisex and is loosely fitted.

The trend also includes a lot of denim which intwines with the mass amount of denim on the high street and catwalk at the moment that would also come from the working class eras. The Workwear trend embraces the working/lower class rather than us wanting to look expensive and upperclass. Items of clothing are often ripped or worn out, which make the look very casual and vintage.

This look is accessible throughout the popular High street stores at the moment, and by looking in Vintage stores you are bound to find classic more rugged looks.
