A trend that's been going on for quite some time now is young men growing their facial hair to create the long beards that is mostly seen all around London. The whole 'Beard and Tats' phase is still very much in place and it is very questionable as to why it became so popular.
In addition to this I spotted that this week an exhibition that's opened this week at Somerset House is Beard: A Pogonophile Exhibition. It is in collaboration with photographer Brock Elbank, where their simply focusing on the obsession with facial hair. The exhibition consists of 80 portraits that have been developed over 5 years, with Elbank and Jimmy Niggles working together to raise awareness for Melanoma.
