NEW STORE'S - INTERIOR
Something I believe is important when new boutiques are opening is the way they're presented as well as the products their selling. Especially in London as its surrounded by tourists, so if a store looks interesting and unique people are more likely to go in and visit. I know personally that I am always intrigued by a shop if it has a theme or is decorated really cool, even if your not interested in buying its still a great way for the boutique to gain recognition. WGSN have rounded up some beautiful boutiques that have opened this year, and I absolutely love them, their all geared up with beautiful accessories and interior to make them the perfect individual boutique, places I know i'd love to view.
La Perla - Menswear Boutique - Created by Architect Roberto Baciocchi
Alex Eagle, Chelsea
This one is definitely my favourite, from hindsight it looks like someones home! But in fact its a store/gallery with a selection of art and objects. The most exciting thing about it is the fact that everything down to the display tables are for sale! With such a variety of products displayed in such a stunning way, this store would definitely give you a great experience and personally I would want everything in this boutique.
Melissa, Footwear, Covent Garden
This is another really interesting Boutique thats displayed like a gallery, with an intriguing digital art (shown above). The Boutique is also the first independent art gallery in Covent Garden, and displays the work of young British talents. I think this is a great way to draw in customers, and also very inspiring!
I really love the idea of these well thought about boutiques as it not only makes our visits to their stores exciting but also introduces interior trends and not just fashion trends.
