Something that really intrigued me was the houndstooth print being introduced this season in various ways. Some being the typical black and white print seen by LANVIN and VIKTOR & ROLF as well as a more unrecognisable houndstooth shown by VERSACE and ACNE.
This is a print we've seen many times as a trend which shows how much trends are repeating in terms of patterns and styles. I personally have owned a houndstooth scarf for years, that I would still wear today.
Houndstooth first became really popular after Christian Dior introduced a pair of court shoes in this print in 1959. From then on this print has popped in and out of fashion, and is a highly recognised pattern used on all items of clothing.
