Something I noticed on WGSN is a list of Womenswear brands that could have an influence on A/W 15/16 styles. One brand that caught my eye was FINERY. The reason I liked this as it is a cheaper version of high end fashion, which brings forward a new target market, as its easier to get hold of a timeless piece at a more affordable price. My reasons for backing the idea that this will be successful is because, the three women behind the brand have come from ASOS and Topshop, the 2 most popular high street brands around today.
Upcoming brands can have a big influence on trends as they can change the whole dynamics of brands that in competition with each other. This can influence the products their producing as they then need to adjust to what other brands are selling, like styles, quality and prices.
