Since the recession the super rich have doubled their wealth, therefore showing that it definitely didn't affect them. This suggests that High-End brands still remain affordable for many people, which in theory would boost their sales rather than decreasing them. However, we all know that the recession affected a lot of middle class people, which decreased high street stores sales slightly.
British economy statistics have a massive influence on brands and companies. Therefore, can influence future trends, in terms of materials used, the quality of clothing and how much brands can charge for their clothing.
