LONDON: ADVERTISEMENT

BRICK LANE, KINGS ROAD, PORTOBELLO ROAD

When walking through all 3 of the locations on our London trip, I took note of advertisement in each area. I noticed they all reflected the surroundings, and are all very different designs. I think from just looking at the 3 images you can tell which one has come from where.

Brick Lane was clearly the most simple one, a very grubby hand written, unappealing sign. It reflects the idea of Brick Lanes urban, edgy and vintage vibe. Kings Road was very formal, by being designed on a white background with a lot of space, it looks more expensive and neat. Finally, the Portobello Road advertisement, was what I would describe as cute and quirky. The stripes reflect the housing with pastel colours and vintage detailing.
